Of course, you can play our instruments before bidding. Breyer Hermanos – 1941 The guitar comes from Argentina and was sold by Hermanos Breyer in 1941. Particularly striking in this guitar is the way the spruce top was glued. It is placed in a way that the annual rings are diagonal to the central axis. The choice of woods and workmanship are of highest quality. For its age the guitar is in good condition and only minor signs are present. On the left side of the top, near the side, there are two small repaired cracks. The tuning machines are original and are working properly. The bass is balanced and fits very well to the singing trebles, which are amazingly brilliant and very long lasting. The sound has plenty of volume and a tone quality that is expressive. The slightly shorter scale and a nut width of slightly less than 50 mm contributes to the easy playability. The neck is pleasantly shaped and provides a direct feeling. A lovely guitar for players and collectors. Luthier: Breyer Hermanos Construction year: 1941 Top: Spruce Back and sides : Rosewood Scale: 646 mm Nut: 49,3 mm
