I have had this guitar aprox 18 years and just kept it without playing it the frets look really good and it plays really well, there were birds carved in it not real deep but deep enough i wouldnt want to sand out i didnt wouldnt do carving to a great old guitar i bought it like that and always thought some body fill and nitrocellulous paint would be a beautiful refinish, not sure whats original on it but guitar center in monroeville looked at it and said its a 1965 i was told it was a 1963 where i bought it in west virginia at a music shop, ive misplaced the truss cover years ago but there are replacement ones on ebay, Great lightweight mahogany guitar with a straight neck that plays beautifully, some checking on the headstock, tuners are schaller w.germany. some rust on picguard screws aind pickup screws has an old dogear gibson p90 that i believe is original, thanks hate to let her go, ask any questions you wish.
