You are bidding on a 1966 King 2-B Silver-sonic Tenor trombone. This trombone is in very, very good condition. For its age, it shows only minor signs of use, mainly a few lacquer irregularities (see pictures). It spent most of its time in storage, after being used in the late 1960s. It has been played regularly for the last year- it plays beautifully, and has a crisp sound, great for soloing. The slide has been regularly treated with the Slide Dr's cleaning polish and sealant for the last year, and is in top playing condition.Comes with the original "coffin" case (with the original keys), also in very, very good condition. The locks on the case work! Also included is the original King 28 mouthpiece. Here is your chance to get a horn that is close to the reconditioned ones offered by the H.N. White Company, but this one is in its original condition (never needed restoration) and you get it at a much lower price. The serial number: 409,1XX confirms it was made in 1966. I have the original "Guarantee Bond" from the H.N. White Company showing that it was delivered on January 14, 1966. This "Guarantee Bond" is included in your purchase.Contact me through eBay for any questions.
