One of a kind, very rare, Canadian made, custom Rayco banjo. Beutiful shades of blue on the back and sides of the banjo, chrome on the front (the photos don't do it justice). Incredible sound! This banjo was custom made for singer/song writer Jack Sigurdson in 2011. This banjo was played by Jack for his 2012 album "Found Her in a Phone Book". More information about Jack Sigurdson can be found on his website jacksigurdson.com. This Rayco banjo can also be seen being held by Jack on the cover of the album. Jack unfortunately lost his battle with cancer in April of 2016. This Rayco banjo is in excellent condition and has been kept upright in a hard case since April. I inherited several of Jack's guitars and banjos but I do not play which is why I am selling. Buyer will receive the Rayco banjo and hard case pictured. Case has some wear as it was used quite often to transport the banjo to gigs. The banjo itself has minor wear, chrome needs polish but otherwise has been meticulously maintained.
