The violin is fully playable. The violin and its original shellac varnish is showing patina and authentic/characteristical sign of the time. There are NO cracks or damages on this fine piece. The neck an fingerboard were reglued in a fomer repair, we guess that the back was reglued, too. The job was well done, but the neck is a nuance out of the middle and is tending a few degrees to the right. Snail and neck were modified due to scale changes around the mid 19th
century. Soundpost, bridge, tailpiece-hanger, finetuner and pegs were replaced once.
--> Please see pictures
We will ship the violin safe & secure, with lots of padding and with removed bridge
