Description

Here is a 1931 Martin OM-18, serial #45966.  The guitar has had the heck played out of it but thankfully has never been refinished.  When I first received the guitar I took it to David Sheppard where he secured any of the loose top and sisde cracks and he also installed the replica bridge.   The guitar does have a number of past repairs including numerous side cracks and some side patches.  I believe the bridgeplate is original and untouched.  The width at the nut is 1 3/4" inches and the action is at a comfortable level currently, if you wanted to lower it much more a neck reset would likely be necessary.  The only issue with the guitar currently is the 3rd fret, it buzzes and could stand to be replaced.  The guitar comes with a vintage non-original hardcase. Please also see the other guitars that are listed this week including 2 very neat Gibson Super 400's.
