I found this cymbal years ago at Steve Maxwell Shop and Danny Gottlieb confirmed it is his Ride Cymbal which he used on a lot Records. I never heard this kind of great Bell Sound and a Ride Cymbal Definition plus a "washy Sound". The Cymbal was given to Danny Gootlieb in 1974. From the Serialnumber engrave you can see it is from 1974. Danny confirmed to me that the cymbal was made in the 60ies - look to the 602 stamp - but Paiste gave it to him in 1974 - therefore the serial number. If somebody looks for a Ride for the Life?!
