Walberg and Auge "Diablo" Bop Kit Jazz Drum set. Absolutely stunning sonically and visually! 'Black and Brass', used on the first W&A drum badge created at the turn of the 20th century, is the theme for the W&A 'Diablo' Bop Drum Set and Badge. In 1920, 'The Music Trade Review' blamed Bernard Walberg for his inventions used in the advent of Jazz... also referred to as 'The Devil's Music'. At the time, Mr. Walberg's inventions included the first cow bell holder for the trap kit, first traps table, first CarryAll bass drum, and many other musical creations necessary for musicians to play the new radical music of Jazz. It took a few decades for Jazz to be considered an art form of music. Today, we celebrate that accusation by developing and presenting the Walberg and Auge 'Diablo' Series Bop / Jazz Drum Set. Be the first to own the first W&A bop kit. It's a historical moment in drum history. This drum set is featured in the W&A book we just released. (Available on Amazon.com. See below.) (Free Kindle App for Most Devices)              Established in 1903, Walberg and Auge started as a drum manufacturing company and a musical instrument repair shop in Worcester Massachusetts. W&A eventually started innovating, designing and manufacturing drum hardware for W&A drum sets and other drum companies such as Gretsch, Ludwig, Rogers, Slingerland, Leedy, Camco and Kent. Walberg and Auge was responsible for inventing and manufacturing the first hihat stand, first cowbell holder, first triangle holder, first cymbal stand with rubber feet, tom holder, first drum throne, first clamping basket snare stand (Buck Rogers snare stand), first telescopic wire brushes, first folding bass drum pedal and much more. It could be said that every American manufactured drum set from the 1920's - 1960's has and/or had a piece of Walberg and Auge hardware on the drum set. It also could be said that Walberg and Auge invented the 'modern drum set' as we know it today.
Walberg & Auge Drum Sets  W&A also custom made high quality snare drums and drum sets, using mostly Gretsch shells with a variety of Gretsch, Roger
