Up for sale is NOS AC701 tube made by Telefunken.
It comes in original box.
The tube is -03 revision and has same construction and quality as AC701k (low microphonic frame grid construction).
It's marked with Telefunken logo and red dot.
Production code is U5109303.
I made volt-ampere curves tracing to ensure the tube is healthy and linear.
Transconductance and plate current measured by AC701 datasheet (at Up=60V, Uh=4V, Ug=-1.6V):
S= 2.5mA (100%=2.8mA/V)
Ip= 2.55mA (100%=2.6mA)
Heater current is 101.5mA at 4V.
I have another tube for sale (please, see my auctions). The second tube is from same batch and has very close parameters. Buy both tubes if you need strong matched pair.WARNING: Don't try to install the tube if you are not qualified or have no expirience in this field. The tube is very fragile device , especially AC701. I don't guarantee the specs above if you would break the glass near pins. Please, bend the pins very carefuly and not very close to tube body. It would be helpful to read attentively installation guide that can be find in manuals for Neumann microphones.The tube will be shipped for free by EMS.
