The violin bears the "Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume" label and is from the "Virtuose" series, which was the highest and most expensive level of Thibouville-Lamy at the time, and are quite hard to find. The rosewood pegs are original to the instrument, and fits perfectlyThe violin is guaranteed 100% authentic. On the inside back can be found the original labels of the Thibouville-Lamy workshops, "Copie de Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, rue Demours-Ternes" with the date "1880" in a circle, completed with another stamp for the "Virtuose" model, and at the opposite near the sound post, a fire branded letter "P".Dimensions are the following :LOB : 359 mm.Upper bouts : 167 mm.Middle bouts : 117 mm.Lower bouts : 207 mm.The instrument comes with a new rectangular case of quality.
