I absolutely love this guitar and every gig I take it on I get compliments on its tone. My buddy owned a store called the Gear Trader in Huntington Beach California and I occasionally worked there and hung out there quite often. As I was walking the aisles one day I'd always look at our new arrivals and I whacked the bass string on this and it had that ring. When I pulled it down I was struck by how light it was, and that was it, I bought it without even plugging it in. I had seen a lot of MIJ's, and always kick myself in the butt when I have passed on them . I particularly like the neck adjustment as it's quite easy on the road to adjust and climate changes can be hell on guitars. As to climate changes an interesting tidbit about this guitar is it was purchased by the store from a serviceman who bought it new in Japan and I don't know if it's acclimated to many changes traveling around the world on a Navy ship but it's the only one of my collection that didn't need a fret end filing when coming from beach cities California up to Utah. It's had a push-pull added in the middle tone control and the cheap capacitor has been replaced with quality Sprague Orange drop. the middle tone control works on the lead pick up as well. the push-pull allows for all 3 pickups and both outside Rhythm and Lead besides the customary 5 positions so seven in all . I'm pretty sure I could furnish the original pot and cheap capacitor if need be. Comes with soft or hard case...your choice. I WILL ACCEPT OFFERS on this so Feel free to send over some numbers or contact me with any questions .... in my experience in shipping guitars it seems by the time it's padded and boxed up shipping cost always increases and I get stuck paying for it so if it happens to be more than the shipping calculator projects I do expect the buyer to pay for it...on the other hand if the shipping is less I will certainly refund your money.... please know I'm not trying to make money off the shipping I just don't want to get hit for it anymore
