John Bonham, Ian Paice, Cozey Powell, Phil Rudd, Alex Van Halen? Now is your chance! If you are a John Bonham fan, this is a must have. John used the Paiste 2002 24” Ride as well as some of the top drummers of all time! • Absolutely Brilliant Vintage Sound; “Warm, full, lively, brilliant. Wide range, clean mix. Even, balanced feel. Clear defined ping over full, clear wash. Versatile general purpose crash ride. Extremely original classic rock ride sound.” • Made from Paiste CuSn8 alloy (2002 bronze). These were manual crafted, hand hammered and hand lathed. This is a PROFESSIONAL DRUMMERS CYMBAL. One of the most versatile cymbals for the past 44 years • This can be used in all volume settings, live and studio. From medium soft to very loud settings, its brilliant warmth and precise tones have made this 2002 24” Ride desired among musicians. • Notable past and present 2002 players:John Bonham, Ian Paice, Cozey Powell, Phil Rudd, Alex Van Halen, Rick Allen, Stewart Copeland, Tommy Lee, Joe Bolin, Bobby Blotzer, Jeff Porcar, John Clifford, Nick Mason, Gina Schock, Chester Thompson, Terry Bozzio, Bill Bruford, Chicago Bob, Texas Kris and the list goes on..... • A must have for the John Bonham Collector and Vintage Cymbal Collector • Embossed Paiste 2002 Logo with Switzerland Stamp • PERFECT Back logos ; Top and bottom: Can still see RIDE • 604315 serial Numbered. Paiste started with Serial numbers in late 1971 on the 2002 series making this a 1976 Cymbal. • Weight: 3222 grams • The Lower Weight 2002 Rides are very rare and are more consistent with the early 1970’s Led Zeppelin sound. What an awesome find. The Mid to late 70’s 24” rides weigh over 3800 grams and have a nasty gong sound and are still that way today. • Some surface scratches, uncleaned or restored in anyway.
