This beautiful Fender Maurader 2012 Modern Player in Lake Placid Blue is in better than new condition with a number of upgrades. This is a versatile guitar with great stage presence, very comfortable to play.
Pickups create a great range of tones.
The Jazzmaster neck is fantastic. I expect Marauders will be collector item with their many distinctive features and short release period. This one is especially great as I've added all of the modifications needed to really do it justice. Upgrades/modifications included: Grover tuners and solid block saddles (note: adds excellent tuning stability)
I also added two springs and tightened the claw down as I didn't use the tremolo (tremolo arm is included with package.)
I added a new Fender 5 way switch and replaced knobs with a higher quality metal knobs
Includes a vintage Charvel hard case which fits it perfectly. It comes to you ready to play, set up with newer Ernie Ball Cobalt 10-46 strings, low action and every note ringing clearly. Guitar has been immaculately cared for, very gently played and stored only on a stand or in its case. Guitar remains very clean with a beautiful and durable finish. No scratches dings or Buckle rash. This guitar has Mojo and will be ready to rock right out of the case. Note: if the made-in-china bothers you, your expectations will be far surpassed with the impressive quality of the Marauder.
