1951 Epiphone Zephyr Electric MandolinVintage 1951 Epiphone zephyr electric mandolin in sunburst finish with a four pole New york pick up and block inlays. All original finish and pickguard. The original epiphone symbol came off the pickguard but is included in the case (pictured). You can choose to have this put back on the pickguard professionally. Mandolin is in fantastic shape for its age. Instrument Notes:The headstock has a slight surface crack just above the Epiphone logo (pictured). It is only a surface crack and does not extend beyond the very top layer. There is also a paint blemish on the back of the headstock where it appears someone tried to touch up (pictured). Mandolin has a few minor scratches and normal finish checking expected on a 65 year old mandolin. Overall great condition.
The mandolin plays well and sounds good acoustically and has a good electric tone when plugged in. The pickup is strong! All electronics work properly with no problems. She comes with the original green lined Lifton hard case.Serial # 62092Weight 2.6 lbs.
