1958 1959 1960 Original vintage “burst” Les Paul Standard brown guitar case Here's a rare one! An all original 1958 to 1960 LP Standard “burst” case in sweet condition. Just a few nicks, some edge wear and no leather on the handle keeps it from perfect. Been in our family's closet a long time. No idea where the guitar went, but the case is sure in nice shape. Check it out: brass hinges, brown leatherette covering, mint pink plush lining, case pocket, and inside an original set of vintage Gibson guitar strings, too. Even better, this is the correct 5-latch case - don’t confuse with the less rare 4-latch brown case which was earlier. Only the 5-latch brown case is correct for those magical guitar years of ‘58, ‘59, & ‘60. If you have a “burst”, or a nice reissue, this is the case you want, to show off your guitar in original style. Not only fits LP Standards, but Specials and Jrs too. Best of all, every other 5-latch case I’ve seen was close to 4k or 5k. But I’ve priced this one to sell, and no jive whatsoever, it's a steal at $2,900.
