Hello! This auction is for a 2012 Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Traditional with AA flame top and the original case with the original paperwork and tool for the truss rod. The guitar is really nice in appearance and sounds great. I purchased this new because I really liked the Les Paul Traditional model and I wanted something to record with at home that felt and sounded great. I purchased the guitar and have barely used it for anything since I have had it. It's just such a nice guitar. It has spent its life in the case so far. I already have another Les Paul from 1977 that is my go to so I just haven't really used this one like I thought I would and I have to downsize because I can't keep all of these guitars. The guitar is not perfect but it is really really nice and is pretty much in the same condition as when I got it new. It has a small part of the top rear right of the headstock that was not finished all the way from the factory it never bothered me and its small but its better that you know its there. This never bothered me when I got the guitar. It is small and not very noticeable and I felt that I liked the imperfection as the guitar is made in the US by hand and I just liked that about it. But you might not like that. Keep in mind that it left the Gibson factory like this. I have owned several Gibson's over the years and I always seem to get ones with little cosmetic imperfections here or there. I have a Grace Potter Gibson Flying V that I also purchased new with tons of imperfections. The back of this Les Paul guitar has some marks from the buttons on my jeans. They are small and not through the finish. They could probably be buffed out, but odds are if you plan to play this guitar you will add some marks yourself. I tried to get pictures of them but its really hard to get them to show up in the pictures. The case has some marks in the top that are pictured. I had to stand up the cases to some guitars and move them next to each other and it rubbed up against the feet on the bottom of another Gibson case. There is also a small knick in the bottom of the case which is also pictured. All of the documentation that came with the guitar is in the case such as the inspection card, the owner's manual, the plek sticker, and the tool in the little baggy which has never been used. This guitar maybe has a few hours of play time on it and was never gigged with. The guitar has been kept in a smoke free home and it smells like vanilla when you open the case just like it did brand new. Frets are in excellent condition and the guitar is completely original. This guitar was just occasionally played at home and always kept in the case. The guitar was very expensive so the price I am starting at is very reasonable since I know I will lose money on this guitar. The imperfections in the guitar and case are pictured, if you are sensitive to the little things then please don't bid as this is a used guitar. They are small things to me but may be big to you so use your best judgement. I would rate this guitar 8 out of 10 since the overall sound and appearance of the guitar is great.
