They are.This may be hard to believe, but it's every bit as good as the Gibson 165 I once owned and even improves on it in a number of ways. The laminated body is light and resonant, the neck is comfortable and fast, and the amplified sound (to my ears) is much livelier and and more articulate than the Gibson. I love playing it, but I have way too many other guitars and tend to turn to my Telecaster for jazz sounds, so it has to go.If you can get to Muswell Hill in North London, please contact me to come and try it out.Buyers are welcome to collect in person, otherwise please contact me about shipping.
