Fender Custom Shop 1953 Telecaster Relic Butterscotch 2015 Two years after its 1951 debut, the Telecaster was an established success, prized for its sound and style, well on its way to stage and studio indinspensability. Further, 1953 marked its final year as Fender’s sole solid boy electric guitar, as the stratocaster came up.The Custom Shop pays homage to Fender’s early ‘50s work-horse guitar with the 1953 relic Telecaster, it features a lightweight ash body with a butterscotch blonde finish, maple neck with a C shaped back and a 9,5” Radius and 6105 frets, it has vintage pickups a three way pickup selector with modern wiring. Singly ply black bakelite pickguard, vintage style hardware.
