Hofinger was one of the great flute makers of the 20th century, sitting comfortably alongside Louis Lot, Rive and Bonneville and his flutes are sought after by discriminating collectors and players around the world. This is one of two unique Hofingers I will be listing today. This one is currently in Edmonton, Canada with the parents of its present owner, who plays with the Dutch Bach Society (De Nederlandse Bachvereniging) and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, among others, while also completing her post-graduate studies. The flutes are only being sold due the very specific focus of the owner and the need for her to commission new baroque instruments at this time. Letting them go is a matter of great regret.The instruments are priced very fairly and will be shipped worldwide. Final shipping costs will be determined according to preferred method of shipping and location following close of sale. The shipping cost listed is NOT the actual cost.
