This is a fantastic addition to anyone's guitar collection. It's been with me for many years and it's time for me to pass it on. I'm more of a guitar collector than player so the guitar has been untouched and stored safely for most of the time I have owned her. J WHITE had made several guitars when I had the pleasure of meeting him in 1990. He was such a perfectionist that he wouldn't stamp his numbers on the rear of the headstock until he believed he had made a guitar worthy enough, he had very high standards. I purchased two guitars that day a very nice hybrid telecaster strat styled guitar (unnumbered) and this guitar which was his first official build. Due to this guitar being more special I played the tele guitar more often and just took this one out on special occasions. I must say the other guitar in build quality, feel and sound/tone was a amazing too so I never really needed to play this one as much as I wanted it to stay in mint condition. I stopped playing a couple of years later due to other commitments and only started playing again in 2014. If you know J WHITE or have seen his work then you completely understand how good this guitar is, and how special owning his first build would be. I knew when I purchased this guitar that it was an investment as he was such an amazing character with such indepth knowledge of guitars their woods, tone characteristics and the fact he was a master craftsman, he could make anything with wood, luckily for the world he choose guitars. He's an absolute genius and real gentlemen with an absolute eye for perfection, nothing less is good enough. You are welcome to view the guitar, i would prefer collection anyway as it's such a special guitar I don't feel a courier would be a good method of delivery. I would urge you to watch J WHITE YouTube videos and read reviews of his work online to fully appreciate the man behind the craftsman . He has done work for lots of famous musicians and celebrities over the years, who have gone back to him time after time. Don't take my word for it, just ask anyone who has met him or used him to build guitars or repair valuable vintage guitars, he's a rare find in today's guitar world.
