Selling my vintage American Hard Tail Fender Stratocaster made in 1979. It's a great original 70s strat and has plenty of mojo but doesn't get played enough so it's looking for a new home. Here's the details. It's a players grade guitar and has been well played, but looked after in terms of playability. Neck dates from late 78. Pots are all original. Bridge is a replacement. Pickups have flat poles and are strong and clear and seem to have a reasonably high output. Sunburst ash body with 79 black cavity shielding. Finish is worn on arm contour and there is finish checking across the body. 3 bolt neck joint is solid One piece maple neck with original tuners. It's had different tuners in the past but originals now back on. The neck is fender's narrow nut width and feels very slim but is a round c shape in contour. Playing has worn the finish on the back of the neck. Frets are low, but play nicely and are smooth and level with no nicks or issues. Will be supplied in a foam semi hard roadrunner case providing great protection on the move.
