This is a vintage Julio Giulietti hollow body guitar from the mid to late 1960s. The guitar was constructed in Italy. These were produced by Goya as a top of the line model, sporting one of the coolest hard shell cases I have ever seen in my years buying and selling. The pickups sound incredible, very dynamic and sensitive, a little reminiscent of an old Guild or Hagstrom from the same era. The hi mid and lo switches offer a number of wacky phased tones. Tremolo works. Neck is straight. As far as issues go, there aren't many on this one besides a bit of inlay shrinkage on the fretboard and headstock logo. This is to be expected, everything is integrally fine. There are a few hairline cracks on the guitar, one on the top side, another in the cutaway, one above the pickguard next to where the neck meets the body, and one next to the tremolo. These do not affect the playability or sound of the guitar, and I don't think they are going anywhere else. The "off" switch doesn't work, I believe it was intended to be a mute that just completely cut output. It doesn't quite cut it all. Other than that, this guitar is ready to be used by someone. I would keep it if it was more my style; I gravitate towards the more simple designs. I hope someone picks this up and uses it because it is truly a masterful hollow body ; electric guitars are not built this way anymore.
