This is a Jeffries stamped 22 key rosewood/bone button B/F# Anglo in concert pitch. Although it is more usual to see these tuned in Bb/F or C/G, this as made to be played in B/F#. The tuning is correct as each note is tuned as per what is stamped on the actual reed! Fully restored by a professional with the intention of keeping as much of the original material as possible, while the leather bellows have been worked on, the papers are all original. All reeds have been dismantled/cleaned/reassembled and tuned to concert pitch. It has a lovely rounded wooden ended sound, and the reeds are very responsive. It has had new springs, pads, valves and leather straps and plays great. Will be posted via royal mail special delivery with insurance, hence the price A great instrument, and a rare one at that.
