LUTE GUITAR
Something very different to play as a classical guitar. It would also be a nice accompaniment to folk and traditional music. A lute guitar from Bavaria, Germany. Now residing in England. Attributed to Paul Schaffer circa 1870. Restored by Luthier Arthur Robb and fully playable Rare carved head-stock in form of a Bavarian musician. Intricately carved sound hole. Multi rib bowl back Scalloped fret-board allows for easy fingering. Six string and played like a guitar it sounds like a lute and has a beautiful tone. This instrument has matured like a Stradivarius and just like a Stradivarius deserves to be played. This is not a new instrument and has signs of age to be expected of a mature instrument. It has the nicks and scratches of a much loved guitar. A hard ovation case comes with the guitar.
