1940s Martin Committee large bore Professional Cornet.  This horn is ready to gig.  Good condition for age.  See pictures.  Nice patina on bell.  Finish wear, discoloration, small scratches and dings, but no large dents.  Slides and valves work well. Comes complete with a Blessing 7 mouthpiece, two mutes, a stand, a bag and original case with working latches.  It even has a key to lock it.  Has the classic Committee sound!  Martin trumpets or cornets were played by a Who's Who list of trumpet and cornet players covering the spectrum of jazz, from early to modern to big band, including, amongst many, many others:Miles Davis, Cat Anderson, Chet Baker, Bix Beiderbecke, Bunny Berigan, Chris Botti, Conti, Candoli, Kenny Dorham, Roy Eldridge, Art Farmer, Maynard Ferguson, Horst Fischer, Dizzy Gillespie, Bobby Hackett, Eddie Henderson, Al Hirt, Freddie Hubbard, Blue Mitchell,  Lee Morgan, Fats Navarro,  Bill Ortiz, Shorty Rogers, Charlie Shavers, Lu Watters, Louis Armstrong, Clark Terry, etc., etc…
