*RARE* Vintage COUESNON Flugelhorn (Mid 1960's) GR Lead Pipe

Rare chance to own a part of recording history. This Couesnon flugel horn was owned by recording artist and London session player Stuart Brooks and played on hundreds of tv and pop dates including Abba, Tom Jones, James Last and can be heard as the solo flugel feature from the hit tv show 'Dalziel and Pascoe'. It has no serial number. It it pre-Monopole and purchased new from Bill Lewington in London probably mid-1960's. Since owning it I have had it stripped to raw brass and overhauled by master craftsman John Ravenor. John added two new spit valves and a trigger to the third tuning slide. Couesnon flugels are known for their distinctive beautiful sound but also famously tricky tuning. The trigger really helps with this. I also purchased a custom cut GR Couesnon leadpipe, (See GR website for further details) which also helps greatly. The flugel comes with the new GR pipe, it's original pipe and a third pipe that Stuart sometimes used.
