This is an excellent sounding EP-3 Echoplex from the 70's. Everything works as it should, it has a new sound on sound switch. The box is a little road worn but more importantly, everything on the chassis is clean and sounding like an Echoplex should. I've owned about a dozen of these over the years and let me tell you, this is a good one! Has a little bit of modulation but not too much. It would probably be less with a new tape and pressure pad or re-conditioning of the pinch roller. Like all used tape echo units, you should be prepared to clean heads and replace tape often. It's all worth it though and these are becoming harder to find at a decent price. Thanks for looking!
