Up for sale is one pair of custom JBL 2451 compression drivers on used 70 degree conical wave guides with brand new custom oak bezels for home audio or recording studio use. I installed two, brand new aluminum 4" 16 ohm diaphragms in these drivers to dramatically reduce the harshness of the original JBL titanium diaphragms and the improvement in sound quality is remarkable. The DCR on both units is 7.7 ohms. These horn-driver combinations must be used together; the drivers were custom made by JBL specifically for these horns. These 2451's will not work with other horns.The sound quality of these units is amazing. The conical waveguides are ultra smooth and the aluminum diaphragms will let you enjoy many hours a fatigue-free listening. All necessary hardware to mount the drivers to the horns and the horns to the bezels is included. I was going to begin offering a range of studio monitors around this high frequency package, but have decided to begin selling off my inventory so I can retire. Please note; the horns are used and have minor scratches.
