Elger Telecaster Deluxe. This is a beautiful vintage guitar. A super nice copy of a '70s Telecaster Deluxe from the "Lawsuit Era". An honest relic showing wear and misc. dings and chips but nothing major. No buckle rash to speak of. Made in Japan by Fujigen in the 1970s. Elger became Ibanez. This guitar is extremely rare and like other Japanese Lawsuit Era copies are becoming recognized for their superior quality. Beautiful aged cream body with gorgeous maple neck. Multi-laminate pickguard. Fender tuners. (I do not have the original tuners.) Original case is in great shape. At some point someone scratched “MARK” on the neck pickup and “FUNK” on the bridge pickup but it’s not really noticeable unless you look close. I wonder if that has anything to do with Mark Farner of Grand Funk? THIS GUITAR PLAYS AND SOUNDS GREAT! There’s some weight to it which comes through in its sustain and resonance. It’s probably about 45 years old and is dripping with real deal mojo. Sold AS IS. No refunds. Ask all questions before bidding. Ships to lower 48 only. SHIPPING COST: Disregard any preset shipping amount by ebay. Shipping can be calculated ONLY AFTER I know where the guitar is being shipped, the final weight and dimensions. YOU ONLY PAY FOR THE ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGED BY USPS. I do not charge for packing, packing materials, box or delivery to the post office. I cannot provide shipping quotes because I can’t pack the guitar until it is sold. Therefore, I have no idea how much it will weigh with packing materials and box and the boxes I have aren’t the same size. A general weight/size estimate usually works out to about 23 to 25 pounds total in a box that’s usually around 50 inches by 8 inches by 18 inches. It will ship from 99203 via USPS Parcel Select.
