This is a lovely flute with fitted case which also includes piccolo. The flute is an excellent playing instrument. It has 8 keys and is made by Hawkes & Son, engraved on the flute body; "First Class, Hawkes & Son, London." Keys and mounts are nickle silver and wood is cocuswood. The only repair to this fine flute is to a hairline at the back of the head-joint. I have played this flute for quite some time, but I no longer play the flute. Length is 25 3/4 inches and it plays at A440 with head-joint pulled out about 1/4 inch. Beautiful leather case with initials engraved "J.W.F.M." Probably a special order flute. Listed on auction, as well as buy it now, or make your best offer.
