VINTAGE SLINGERLAND SNARE DRUM 1920'S, WEARS A BRASS SLINGERLAND BADGE, BLACK PAINT OVER ALUMINUM SHELL AND THE HOOPS ARE ALUMINUM . TENSION BOLTS ARE BRASS, THIS DOES NOT USE LUGS INSTEAD IT USES 2 COMPLETE CIRCLE FLANGES CAST INTO THE SHELL. This is a original 1920's SLINGERLAND SNARE DRUM 14"x 5" approx size in used condition see pictures to verify condition. Based on the badge and the construction of the shell this is one of the first drums that Slingerland placed their name on, it precedes their production of drums and was very likely built by someone other than Slingerland. Please feel free to ask any questions that have not been already answered in this listing that you may have. Some additional cleaning could still be done and it could look even better but please note this is in original condition as far as I know.

Due to the facts that this snare is 80+ years old and the heads are old and one has tape on it and that one tension bolt/hook is missing and that the throw is stuck on the snare in the on position I am selling this for Parts or not working it will need repairs and parts to be 100% and I just can't bare dealing with the returns dept. Here again any time soon. Their are absolutely no returns offered on this item.
