This is an original 1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior, not a reissue. A truly beautiful vintage instrument! Pots are clean, jack is sound, the P90 pickup is awesome! It is all original condition. The tuning machines were replaced, making this more a player than a collector guitar. The original and a replacement set of Kluson Deluxe tuners are included, along with the original chipboard alligator case with case candy. This guitar has been babied since I got it. I never played out with it. It's in very good condition for a guitar of this vintage. The neck feels good and is not warped. There is NO fret buzz!
The tuning machines are as I received it, but I am including a set of correct, vintage Gibson tuning machines.
As for playability, it plays great and really sounds super! It has wonderful sustain, and the P-90 makes it a screamer, just like Juniors are known for. I used to have a 1960 double cutaway LP Junior and this is way better sounding. Real tone! I sold that guitar to an Austrian collector.
I AM WILLING to sell to foreign buyers if the guitar is eligible for overseas shipment! Shipping charges will be higher than US shipment. The original Gibson Gator case is included in this auction. It has some case candy, two different Gibson enclosures. It really adds to the vintage vibe of this great guitar! NECK
