1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom - I have owned the guitar since 1976. 1974 Black Beauty, gold hardware, ebony fretboard, original fretless wonder frets, original finish, no neck cracks or repairs, original Grover tuners, original hardshell case, original pickups, tailpiece was replaced in the 80's with a solid brass tailpiece, lead pickup was rewound by Dan Torres in Calif. who used to do all the rewinding in the 70's/80's for all the major guitarists. Small hole by control cavity where I had a coil tap switch was professionally filled. Strap buttons replaced with gold Straplocks. Original knobs, strap button and screws come with it. Marked 2 on headstock, has reinforcements in the body for the tailpiece lugs, a vintage dealer said he thought it was originally destined for a Bigsby. Guitar is in great shape for 42 years old, dripping with vibe and mojo! Looks awesome, sounds killer, super low action. From my personal collection; it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
