Here is my 1972 Strat that I have owned since about 1984 and was my number one giging guitar for many many years. I bought it in England and have changed nothing on it since then except having a professional refret about 6 years ago, which transformed its playability no end, it now has a lovely 'easy' action, much better than it was when I first got it! About the guitar, its a 1972, 3 bolt neck, with the 'bullet' truss rod, it has the tremelo, but I dont have the arm, but thats an easily available Fender part, I just never use it, its in natural swamp ash, thats natural from new, not a stripped off job, it has the factory 'Natural' stamp in the pickup route, it has the correct gray bobbin pickups which have wax potted at sometime, not by me, it has all the correct fittings, but it has had other machine heads at some point but correct 'F' ones on now. The only blemish is that someone at some point has drilled a hole in the pickguard presume for a coil tap switch or something, but it has been filled. This was like this when I bought the guitar and I left it as I wanted the original pickguard I guess. The plastic is all nicely aged now and the guitar has some playwear and belt buckle rash as you would expect, complete with original black Fender case. The guitar is in Florida now, and can ship UPS, or buyer can collect and any trial is welcome, but bring your own amp as I dont have one here! Beautiful, original vintage guitar, only selling because I really am a Tele man now (its an age thing!)
