Awesome Vintage Looking 2016 Sunrise Tea Burst 1958 Historic Reissue VOS Mint and Unplayed!The top on this one is absolutely vintage '58!  The perfect blend of subtle flame and grain.  Heavy mineral flecking combined with great movement, depending on the light and angle. Finished in an exquisitely vintage correct looking faded burst. Gibson has returned to it's glory days with the new 2016 Custom Shop Historic Reissues.  This guitar includes all the anniversary year improvements that produced the most accurate reissues to date.  The long awaited return to a hide glued long tenon neck, tubeless truss rod, one piece fretboard, and the phenomenal custom bucker pickup, Gibson's most accurate reproduction of the legendary late 50's PAF pickups offered. While these have the upgraded 2014 Historic specs, the top on this one is simply exceptional. And the Sunrise Tea Burst VOS finish on this one really captures the vintage look. They are incredible guitars and this one is over the top.  Not only is it a visual piece of art, it's a amazing player as well!Unfortunately, word is getting around quickly that the highly figured R8's we've been enjoying recently are going away this year, as we speak.  Get a great one now before you end up having to pay at least a couple grand more for an R9 to get this top.Sonically they are phenomenal! Highs ring like a bell as they should with a very vintage, woody tone. Tremendous mids and low end clarity. And this one is in like new, unplayed condition. Very lightly aged by Gibson master craftsmen using the VOS process.
