This is a terrific Morris flattop oval hole mandolin. The top is western red cedar; back and sides are maple. 3 piece laminated maple neck with steel bar epoxied in for stiffener, non-adjustable. Purfling around the top, back and soundhole. Radiused ebony fretboard. Adjustable ebony bridge. Transverse tone bar. 1 1/8" at the bone nut. GHS 250 strings. Grover tuners and tailpiece. Strap on the heel and tailpiece. Natural nitro finish shows the beauty of the woods used. This mandolin has excellent playability and projection and a very nice bassy tone on the low side - nice and clear on the treble. Can definitely be heard in a group setting. Comes with gigbag and 48 hour trial period. S/H/I depends on location of customer. If you purchase this mandolin please wait for an invoice to determine the final price which will include the s/h/I.
