1966 Kay M3 Upright bass. This is a 1/4 size bass. The bass was set up by LA Bassworks including fingerboard leveling. Has an adjustable bridge and d'addario helicore strings. I used the bass for strings classes and rehearsing in a small orchestral ensemble. I also used it for bluegrass and jazz a couple times. It was easier to lug around and could also play it while sitting. The bass plays very easily and smoothly either arco or pizzicato. Comes with a a well fitted gig bag and an extra aluminum endpin that is very long. Can ship by Greyhound Package Express for $150. Must pick up bass at the closest terminal. Can also use fedex if you pay for actual cost.
