Here you have a beautiful Hofner President which is by far and away in the best condition I have seen a vintage guitar in,its a stunner !!!Whats more it plays like a dream right up the straight nesk with a lovely action.Hofner Presidents have a top that was hand carved from a block of aged Bohemian Pine and it is this that gives them and especially this one such a wonderful tone.The guitar has beautiful mother of pearl marquetry on the head stock,beautiful flamed maple back and sides,rosewood fingerboard and five layers of black and white purfling around the back and front.Being a later model this one has the committee Lyre style tail piece not the more common Compensator.The guitar is totally original and is only lacking the scratch plate.There are a few tiny dings and superficial marks but far less than most and as I say I have never seen one in as good condition.You will not find a better Hofner President !Highly recommended
