1940's Magna Electronics Company vintage Magnatone electric guitar amplifierSN# 4329Classic Magna Electronics Company (Magnatone) vintage guitar amplifier. The amplifier has survived exceptionally well over the last 70 plus years. It looks like it still retains the initial RCA tube complement throughout. I believe the model designation is the M-192-5. With two 6v6's, this amp probably puts out about 15 watts. Cosmetically it features the classic alligator finish that is still in very good condition. It does have some extra holes drilled on the sides, I don't know why that was done.  The amp has spent most of its life on the west coast which is why the amp does not show any signs of moisture damage or corrosion. Everything works, all inputs and pots. Very cool original white chicken feet knobs are still in place. Original amp feet are still attached. The amp was manufactured in Los Angeles California. It appears to still have the speaker mounted Triad output transformer, a very important component. I don't know if the power transformer and filter caps etc. are all original or not. Most components, pots, resistors etc. are original. 12 inch speaker is original and has not been re-coned.  This is a very clean great sounding vintage amp with plenty of bite and personality. I describe accurately and pack with extreme care. (check feedback). I do not offer returns on vintage gear but guarantee no DOA's. This is amp is approaching antique status and as such will care and maintenance moving forward. That said it should provide many years of great vintage tone that just cannot be duplicated by modern amps. I am happy to respond to questions.
