For sale is a Yamaha Flugel Horn, model YFH-231S, serial # 014180.I bought this from a buddy back in high school and it has been in my possession for the last 20 years. I played it all the way through college and even after graduation. It has been kept in good shape. I just have not had a lot of chances to play it over the last few years. There are a couple of really, really minor areas where the finish has begun to come off, but I don't think it would even show up on pictures very well. There are also two really small dings that likewise probably wouldn't show up. I have been fanatical about keeping my instruments in good playing condition and was always afraid of doing anything that would affect their playability and sound. So, what you are getting is a nice entry level flugelhorn with a gold Denis Wick 2FL mouthpiece and a silver Bach 7CFL mouthpiece, and a stand that fits nicely in the bell for storage. The original case is included...the only issue with the case is one of the free range bunnies got ahold of the case and chewed a piece of the case up. It still does the job it was made for and protects the horn, it's just not as pretty. Overall, this is a good horn.
