1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom Heritage Cherry burst
Estimated price for orientation: 2 199 $
Category: Gibson Les Paul
Class:
Description Series: Custom Exact Year: 1976 Model: Custom Brand: Heritage
For your consideration is a gorgeous 1976 Gibson Les Paul custom. The bridge was changed to a Khaler system in the 80s (a very common modification). The G string needs a new graphite saddle on the bridge. It is a $15 part. I removed the string lock piece at the nut but it is included in the sale. The neck pickup is the original (and very rare) williamsville stamped T top humbucker and the bridge pickup is a vintage seymore duncan pickup. The original bridge pickup is not included. The guitar has had no breaks or repairs of any kind. The weight is 9.9lbs and the guitar has a 60s style tapered neck. The frets are original with no buzz and the action is KILLER. The tone between the two pickups is very versatile, warm and vintage sounding. The sustain is better than I have heard on other T tops from this era. Comes with non original hard shell case. As you can see, cosmetically I would rate this guitar a 9/10. Collectors grade aside from the bridge modification. I have many more photos I am happy to share if you like. There is very very little wear on this 40 year old guitar. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions as I can usually respond within 20 minutes. NO LOWER OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED
