This one, a NATIONAL DUOLIAN SQUARENECK I've owned since 2007 when after a lot of research to find then right guitar,  I imported it from USA.The serial number B2235 dates it firmly in 1937 and its in the painted fake woodgrain finish which is hardly worn.14 frets to the body with the solid headstock, a true and rare vintage Hawaiian Squareneck - very hard to find in this condition. This guitar has not seen much use and has very little wear. There are no dents or dings and few signs of age. Some wear of the paint at the lower edge and a small amount of corrosion on one side of the coverplate. There's a couple of indent lines in the side of the wooden square neck where I, yes me, left a mark whilst picking it up wearing finger picks! Schoolboy error Tom. I've tried hard to photograph the wear and tear - please refer to the Pictures. As with all Duolians, its LOUD and has no rattles or buzzes. Original everywhere including the nut, there's also a valuation in the case from George Ghrun Guitars dating back to early 2000. I'll include it in the sale.Fabulous guitar which would grace any collection but also sounds and plays as it should.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a square neck Guitar with raised action for Lap Playing in the Hawaiian Style.
