Fender Nocaster Relic Greg Fessler masterbuilt blonde 2008 Masterbuilt Greg Fessler Relic see through blonde Custom Shop Nocaster. When this baby came out of the Fender Custom Shop in 2008 it must have been difficult for Greg Fessler to release it into the big bad world, because man, this is one hell of a guitar! First off all this instrument is, at first sight, nearly indistinguishable from "the real deal" with it's medium/heavy relic finish. It just feels "right" all the way through, you'll never want to let it go ever with it's beefy C shaped maple neck and 9,5" maple fretboard. Then there's the ever so great looking Ash body visible through the see through finish and the spots where it's been reliced. Not only does this body look great, it also contributes greatly to the resonance and light weight of this instrument. Other features include 3-saddle bridge with ashtray, 2 great sounding single coil pickups, Kluson style tuners and 1-ply black pickguard.
