1984 Fender Fullerton '57 Stratocaster
The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! Comes with the original hardshell case.   - See more at: http://www.vintageandrare.com/product/Fender-Elite-Stratocaster-1983-Elite-Sunburst-25645#sthash.kJCQRHTr.dpufThe one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. This is hands down my favorite Stratocaster in the shop right now. Here we have a 1984 Fender Fullerton ’57 American Vintage Stratocaster in its original and well worn Fiesta Red finish. For all intensive purposes this is a ONE OWNER guitar and has all the case candy and paperwork as well as an original sales receipt from “The Guitar Center” dated December 1984. This example features a thin nitro finish that like many of the custom color Fullerton guitars was shot over an existing color, in this case it appears to be black or Olympic White. This is well documented and has been seen on just about every custom color Fullerton we’ve had through the store. Although this guitar has no visible neck date, which was also not uncommon for Fullerton Strats the pots date to 1983, the serial falls within the correct date range, and the neck has the unmistakable thin Fullerton carve. We just set this up in house and it plays fantastic and rings like a bell. Comes complete with its original tweed case with duck-foot handle and ALL case candy and paperwork.
