Here is one of our favorite pre amps... The Neve designed Focusrite RED 8 Dual Channel Pre Amp. Long ago, before focusrite made entry and mid level equipment, they were considered as one of the best and few hardware designers of pres, comps, eps and converters. Their RED, BLUE and EARLY... not latter ISA hardware was in every studio for many good reasons. The new stuff simply does not sound as big, wide, sweet, elegant and beautiful as the classics.. THIS Red 8 for sale is an original classic. We tried the new RED 500 series pre and found them to be very two dimensional and having much lower headroom than this original Red 8.We are selling it as we have another 4 channel RED pre and simply don't need 6 channels. This Red 8 is in FULL working order with NO operational issues. It has never been mistreated and has always been handled with good, gentle, knowledgeable hands : )These are getting harder to find and are sure to go up in value in the future. By the way, aside from being a SUPURB pre amp for ANY signal, we've also had great success running buss stems and mixes through it for that RED kiss.I pack safe and ship fast!
