Description

This is an actual first year production (1962) custom color (Lake Placid Blue), Fender Jaguar with its original Fender hardshell case. It is not a reproduction or reissue, but a true, blue, 1962 Fender Jaguar. The last of Leo's original designs.... This is a true collectors dream guitar. It has its original paint, electronics-pots, pickups, switches, wiring, knobs, tailpiece, endpins, frets, headstock decals, and pickguard. The only nonoriginal parts are a set of replacement tuners and a brass nut. And no, I do not have the original tuners or tremolo arm, which has been missing in action for some time. The action and tone of this guitar are truly phenomenal. The neck feels so good on this guitar. At one time, someone may have over sprayed the fretboard. Other than that along with 54-years of honest playing wear, this guitar is just over-the-top cool. No cracks, no repairs or routes to the body. No refined body parts or overspray (other than the fretboard.) Great tone. Great vibe. It just needs a great owner. Many thanks for your time and consideration. Feel free to email me with any specific questions. This guitar will be professionally packed and shipped. Book value on an original custom-color Jag is between $8K-$10K. I am selling mine for $4350. Thank you again.
