Vintage 1968 Conn Connstellation model 38A Cornet made in Elkhart, Indiana == Brass/Coprion 4 13/16" bell, .485" bore, first valve trigger, third valve slide throw ring, Electro-D mouthpipe and bell == Beautiful instrument in VG+ condition, some plating loss, a few small dings, no repairs -- valves and slides all working, both slides need lubed/cleaned but move smoothly (1st valve trigger slide doesn't return all the way without a slight assist -- again, this is just a cleaning/lube issue, slides are moving smoothly) -- very nice overall appearance == Includes original case (with wear), Bach 7C and 10 1/2CW mouthpieces, and a mute that needs new corks == We aren't experts but have handled a number of horns and winds through the years so we describe pretty well -- personally, I'm a guitar player, and don't play cornet/trumpet at all! However, I have goofed around a bit, and this is the first cornet we've had that I was actually able to play 4 notes in a row, very easy blowing == A very nice horn that needs very minor normal maintenance (I've never cleaned one with slide stops or I'd do it myself lol) == NOTE: there is very good info on this model at The Conn Loyalist == We ship worldwide ==
