Folks, read carefully the following: Price will be INCREASED soon!Up for sale is a monster 78-79 Ludwig Blue/Olive Badge Chrome-O-Wood drum set in 6 ply with clear Maple shells.Collectors of mint vintage items and those seeking a classic Ludwig tour/gig out excellent condition drums may want to look elsewhere----these drums are NOT for you. This kit is best suited for the hobbyist as a nice house practice set, or a gigging drummer who wants this sound and look for the Practice Studio.This kit may also serve someone who would like to restore them with either a rewrap or by removing the chrome and finishing the Maple shells in a nice stain/lacquer look.The kit has 6 concert toms 10/12/13/14/15/16 with the double toms mounts, two full stands and the kick drum mounting stem/holderIncluded is the 18" Floor Tom and the 24" kick drum with Ludwig logo(newly added) for a total of an 8 piece Kit.The maple 6 ply shells are in wonderful condition on all 8 drums.The chrome from years of gigging, their age, etc. have some dings, some mild pitting, and a few of the badges are imperfect--------see the pics------The Chrome plated steel wrap is in below-average condition...........The kick wooden hoop rings have been sanded and repainted and are functional. The 24" kick could use replacement spur holders(sold on eBay)The kick and 18" floor tom show the most blemishes of all the drums. The reso hoop for the 18 tom IS includedThese are listed as a full Kit, and based on whether they sell in a reasonable amount of time or not, they may be parted out at a later date.Shipping will be attempted as follows but won't know until packing:25" UPS cube will contain the kick drum, then nested inside will be the 18" floor, 15" tom, and 12" tom and in the 2nd box the 16" tom 13" tom and 10" tom-----the 14" tom will be shipped in its own box-----------subject to change based on nesting attemptsThese drums came from a former gigging drummer from way back and they show it, and are priced accordingly.Basically, there are about $600 in lugs, rods and hoops, $200 in skins, and $200 for the tom mounts and stands, then 8 beautiful maple shellsALL MY GEAR IS LISTED LOCALLY AND CAN BE REMOVED AT MY DISCRETION
