Product Description ESP's LTD V-300 solidbody electric guitar was designed for heavy metal guitarists and players who need aggressive looks, tones, and playability. The duo of EMG 81 active humbucking pickups are a mainstay of heavy metal guitars and were chosen for their high output, cutting sound, and full-toned cleans. The Thin U neck profile makes fast and fluid playing effortless. And the mahogany and rosewood construction of the guitar offers a balanced tonal output. The ESP LTD V-300 solidbody electric guitar plays great, sounds mean, and looks combative. Onboard the LTD V-300 you'll find a pair of EMG's most popular active humbucking pickups. The 81 in the bridge and neck are a go-to pickup for hard rock styles because of their high-output voice. These humbuckers deliver a huge but tight low end and highs that cut without ever becoming too piercing. This EQ curve makes them work wonderfully for full-bodied clean tones as well. And even though they'll easily push your amplifier into high gain, EMG's active design keeps the pickups very quiet without a lot of interference. What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a few light scuff marks on the neck pickup cover (see photo). No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the light scuff marks on the pickup, it looks and plays like new. This is a factory 2nd that is NOT stamped "2nd" or "used" and the guitar has the original serial number. However, there is no factory warranty.
