This lovely Fox oboe is the model 400 in mint, like new, condition! We spoke with Fox a few weeks ago and confirmed that this instrument was produced in 2010. We purchased this instrument from a pawn shop (they had it for 60 days before trying to sell it) and confirmed with Fox via serial number that it was not stolen and confirmed the production date. This oboe features grenadilla wood construction with silver plated keywork and rings. NO CRACKS ANYWHERE! Pads are in new shape! We did NOT play-test this oboe due to recently moving and being unable to find our stack of new oboe reeds! It MAY need a slight adjusting/regulating but the pads are really really nice! The case is a Loree wooden case (needs one of the blocks reglued) in overall great condition and it fits this oboe very well! From non-smoking home!Specs according to wwbw.com:
